As part of Operation Samaritan, Indian Army distributed solar lamps and street lights to the villagers of Braigong Village, in Anjaw district. This helping hand by army will further strengthen the bonds with locals. Local youth assist army and are eager to serve the nation.
The villagers faced great hardship due to the lack of electrification. The village elders thanked the Army for its thoughtful initiative and assistance. They shared that this was a great gift to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav.
Locals shared that with the facility of Solar lights, life will become safer and improve the living standards. Education standards will also improve. Village Brigang is away from road , located in Goiliang Circle, District.
