This is an excerpt of the conversation with Taposhree Baruah by Team NE India Broadcast.

Q: Why the name ‘The Mind’?

And: The reason is that the book is all about thoughts and it’s the mind where everything starts and ends, so a book reflecting the randomness, limitlessness and vastness of the mind needed to be titled as ‘The Mind’, the book will allow my readers to take a pause and connect with their mind while they explore the beauty and mystery of thoughts as they turn the pages of the book.

Q: You are the youngest quote writer of Northeast India, what fascinates you about quotes?

In the back cover of my book, I have written ‘ It is the parts of it that makes you remember the whole of it…and this book is for all those parts of life that makes up the whole of life’ and quotes are parts which hold the depth making up the whole and this is the aspect about quotes that fascinates me, the deep-dwelling that is allowed for there exists no one particular way to interpret them but multiple.

Q: What is this ‘Read for Social Cause Movement’ that you have launched with the release of your second book ‘The Mind’?

And : I am someone who holds a passion to work for the good of society, I want the generation of today and the upcoming ones to develop an attitude where they believe that in everything that we do, there is always something that we can do for each other for the greater good and with my second book ‘The Mind’ whose entire author royalties will be donated to support Street Animal Welfare (Saw) with their cause to serve the voiceless souls, I am launching ‘Read for Social Cause Movement’ to create a global community of readers who with every read will support a social cause and ‘The Mind’ is simply a beginning of the same.

Q: What your readers can expect from your second book: The Mind?

Ans : The book starts with an intense quote about death and ends with a quote that conveys self-belief and a ‘ you must believe it to achieve it’ attitude, so my readers whom I address as dwellers for they dwell into the depth of thoughts, will find explore a mind while reading ‘The Mind’.
