News agency ANI reported. former CBI director Ranjit Sinha died on Friday 4.30 A.M in Delhi.
He was a retired officer of the 1974 batch of the Indian Police Service (IPS) and held several senior posts, including that of the CBI director .
Sinha was born in Jamshedpur .
He was 68.
