Dr. Jubliee Purkayastha resides in Manishashan which is Karimganj district of Assam , Dr. Jubliee Purkayastha helped DRDO develop Anti Covid Drug 2-DG.
Dr. Purakashtha is the Daughter of Lt. Sudarshan Purkayastha and Mrs. Binoy Kumari Purkayastha, Dr. Jubilee, studied at Karimganj College.
She did her Ph.D. from the North East Institute of Science and Technology in Jorhat and joined the Defense Research Laboratory of DRDO in Tezpur as a scientist in 2008.
She reached Delhi in 2014 she told during the media interaction. She is actively involved in the process of discovering DRDO Anti Covid Drug 2-DG to save humanity from the ferocious virus Covid-19.
It is a matter of pride that she belongs to a tiny village of Mahishashan in the Karimganj district of Assam.
