Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi handed over seven oxygen generators to Red Cross hospitals of Silchar, Karimganj and Guwahati, to strengthen their fight against the COVID-19 pandemic on Monday.
The Assam State Branch Indian Red Cross Society, with the help and support of the Red Cross Society, National Headquarters, New Delhi, has received these oxygen generators from the Canadian Red Cross society as donations.
Governer Mukhi also thanked the Canadian Red Cross Society for this generous gesture. This will empower the respective hospitals to boost their capability to render emergency care including oxygen support to the COVID patients.
