Two from Assam and Sikkim begs the National Teachers award for 2021.
Sikkim and Assam are among very few States including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Gujarat, and Rajasthan to bag two awards while some other States have bagged one.
Mingma Sherpa, Primary Teacher, currently posted at Government Primary School Lum, North Sikkim and Prem Das Chhetri, PGT Physics currently working at Sir TNSSS, Gangtok from Sikkim among them.
While, Kankan Kishore Dutta of Bamunpukhuri High School, Jorhat and Binanda Swargiary is a teacher of KB Deulkusi Higher Secondary School in Baksa district selected to be conferred with the honour .
This award will be presented on September 5, 2020.
