President of India Ram Nath Kovind appoints La. Ganesan to Governor of Manipur on Sunday.
The post of Governor of Manipur had vacant after the retirement of Najma Heptulla.
Earlier La. Ganesan was a senior BJP leader of Tamilnadu.
He was also a former member of the Rajya Sabha.
