Vincent H Pala MP Shillong was appointed as Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee president.
AICC general secretary KC Venugopal said, “The Congress President Sonia Gandhi has appointed Vincent H Pala, MP as the President of the MPCC with immediate effect.”
He was elected from Shillong Constituency first time in 2009 as a Congress candidate worked as Union Minister of States, Water Resources and later was selected as the Union Minister of State, Minority Affairs.
James Lyngdoh will also continue as working president.
