Neil Nongkynrih founder of Shillong Chamber Choir confer doctorate by NIT Meghalaya.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will present this award during NIT’s annual convocation which will be held on October 1 at Shillong.
Neil Nongkynrih founded the choir group in 2001.
He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2015.
He also won the reality show India’s Got Talent in 2010.
