On 17 December, 2021 from 0930 hrs to 1245 hrs, the troops of the Border Out Post Teinpur, 84 Battalion, under South Bengal Frontier organized free medical camps for the welfare of border residents to develop mindset and mutual trust and good image towards the force.
During this program, 170 villagers from Kagjipara and nearby villages came to the camp for treatment. This included men and women as well as children. Free treatment and medicines were distributed to all. The Village Head and members of the nearby villages were also present in this camp, who made people aware of the camp.
The people of the area highly appreciated the camp and urged the BSF to organize more and more such camps in future.
The Commanding Officer of the 84 Battalion has expressed happiness over the conduct of this medical camp. Officer stated that such programs create a good image of the force and develop a sense of security among the citizens. Officer also stated that such programs will be organized in the border areas in future also.
