Queen Oja is the Member of Parliament (MP) from 7 No. Guwahati , representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
She has tested COVID-19 positive, and is admitted to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) now.
“On experiencing mild symptoms of COVID19, I got myself tested and my test result came positive.”, MP Oja tweets.
The tweet adds, “Hence, I decided to get admitted to GMCH, Guwahati as advised by my doctors.”
The tweet further adds, “I request all those who came into contact with me during the last few days to get themselves tested.”
It may be mentioned that, 591 COVID positive cases were detected across Assam yesterday. The positivity rate stands at 1.72% with 1979 active cases presently. The high case load districts are Kamrup (M), Kamrup (R), Hojai and Jorhat.
