The incident has happened on 08th February, 2022 at 2130 in the night, under South Bengal Frontier, border Out Post Shikarpur, 86 Battalion, Kutipara village of district Nadia when Chaitali Mandal, age 24 years, wife of Amit Mandal suddenly felt breast pain. The family members of the woman took the woman to the Border Out Post Shikarpur of BSF. In the Border Out Post Shikarpur, the nursing assistant gave first aid to the woman at his level. After that the Company Commander without delay evacuated the sick woman along with Nursing Assistant to Karimpur Hospital in BSF Ambulance for treatment. The condition of the said woman is stated to be normal.
The woman’s husband Amit Mandal expressed his gratitude towards the Border Security Force and said that BSF jawans are always ready to help us. Even today, by helping at the right time, the jawans averted a major untoward incident.
Public Relations Officer, South Bengal Frontier stated that along with the security of the International Border, our jawans take full care of the safety of the people. BSF troops stand shoulder to shoulder with the people in case of any untoward incident.
