Defence minister Ajay Bhatt addressed a gathering of NCC cadets from the state of Assam at Guwahati. Speaking to a large gathering of cadets at Narangi, he stirred up the cadets by asking them to focus their energy on Nation building. Giving an example of the PM of India who himself has been an NCC Cadet.
He reminded the cadet that there can be no obstacle big enough to stop a child from reaching the zenith as long as he stays focused and motivated. He stated that India has developed in leaps and bounds and is looked up by countries around the world as a beacon light and days are not far when we will soon become Vishawa Guru. The gathering included Maj Gen Bhaskar Kalita, YSM ADG NCC Dte NER and officers of NCC Group Guwahati.
The minister inspected the Guard of Honour presented and also enjoyed the vibrant Bihu dance presented by cadets of Guwahati NCC Group. He complimented the NCC cadets for choosing the path of a disciplined life and synergizing their energy towards better tomorrow of the nation.
