Commemorating the 75th Independence Day and in sync with the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ campaign, Assam Regimental Centre Football Teams participated in the much acclaimed Sikkim Football tourney held under the banner ‘Independence Day Football Tournament 2022’. In a seperate tournament held simultaneously, A Team defeated 11 Gorkha Regimental Centre Team 4-0 at Rangpo to take top honours, while B Team lifted the trophy defeating a spirited Kalimpong Police Team 3-1 at Pedong.
