MIZORAM MINISTER INAUGURATES HAEMODIALYSIS UNIT AT KOLASIB DISTRICT HOSPITAL

A Hemodialysis Unit housing 3 Haemodialysis machines was inauguarated at District Hospital, Kolasib on September 13 by Pu K.Lalrinliana, Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department.

The Haemodialysis Building was constructed using Rs. 14 lakhs from MLA Fund, procurement of necessary equipments at Rs. 7 lakhs was met under Mizoram Health System Strengthening Project and the Dialysis machines were donated through Fairfax Foundation, India by ICICI.

Minister Pu K. Lalrinliana in his inaugural speech emphasised on making the best used of the Haemolysis Unit in improving the quality of lives and to make the hospital a place where the weak and sick can find health and comfort.
