Along with Border security, BSF is always ready to help the Border residents. This type of work was done today by the troops of 107 and 70 Battalions of BSF.
The first incident took place on 24th September, 2022 at 0830 hrs, at village Bansghata falling under the area of 107 Battalion under South Bengal Frontier. When two persons were injured after falling from a motorcycle on the Border road, the company commander of the Border Out Post Bansghata was informed about this, and he immediately sent a vehicle along with a nursing assistant to the injured. First of all, first aid was given to the injured, after that both were taken to Bangaon Government Hospital. They were identified as Govind Biswas, village Bangaon and Harekrishna, village Jaukhali. The condition of both is said to be fine now.
An another incident happened on 25th September, 2022 at 1920 hrs, in village Mahadipur falling under the area of 70 Battalion, under South Bengal Frontier. When a pregnant woman named Ganga Bagadhi suddenly started labor pain, the family members of the woman sought help from the company commander of Border Out Post Mahadipur. The Company Commander without delay sent a BSF ambulance along with a nursing assistant to Ganga Bagadhi’s house. From there, the said woman was admitted to the Medical College and Hospital, Malda for treatment. The condition of the woman is said to be fine now.
The families of all the patients expressed their gratitude to the Border Security Force and said that if the BSF jawans had not helped at the right time, then something big could have happened.
Spokesperson of South Bengal Frontier stated that the Border Security Force always works on the Border with utmost vigilance and is always ready to help the people living on the Border. Due to which there is a cordial relationship between the Border Security Force and the Border residents.
