A memorandum of understanding was signed between Dibrugarh University and Oil India Limited on October 12 to undertake collaborative research projects related to petroleum geoscience covering the Gondwana Group of rocks in the Kameng (E-W) and Siang (E-W) of Arunachal Pradesh for the mutual benefit of both organisations under industry -academia interface.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Ranjit Rath, Chairman and Managing Director, OIL and Vice Chancellor of Dibrugarh University Prof Jiten Hazarika and other senior members of OIL. Paramananda Sonowal, Registrar, Dibrugarh University signed the MoU on behalf of Dibrugarh University at Duliajan.
