Vijay Diwas was celebrated today at the Headquarters Eastern Air Command, Shillong to commemorate the 51st anniversary of India’s victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
Remembering all the Bravehearts who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty, Air Marshal SP Dharkar, Air Officer Commanding –in-Chief, Eastern Air Command, paid tributes by laying a wreath at the War memorial at HQ EAC Shillong.
The ceremony was witnessed by personnel of Headquarters, Eastern Air Command.
