Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and AYUSH, Sarbananda Sonowal addressed the people of Digboi on Friday in ‘Padadhwani 2023’, an event organised by Nava Asom Nirman Foundation in the precincts of Poragdhar Chaliha Auditorium, Muliabari, Digboi under Tinsukia District.
Emphasizing the role of youth power in the path of a powerful emerging nation encouraged the youth to imbibe certain principles of life like hardwork, consistently, patience and determination to achieve success even in the midst of adversities.Citing examples of great leaders who were born as rural poor and emphasized that a healthy mind in a healthy body can achieve anything despite the humble background and appealed to the youth to take the responsibility said Sarbananda Sonowal.
To conserve the pristine natural beauty and the rich biodiversity of Digboi for a healthy society Sarbananda Sonowal said that the three pillars of power for any human society are education,sports and culture, and hence the it is essential to promote them.
Sarbabanda Sonowal interacted with the students of several schools and colleges addressing their queries.
