Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) , the world renowned Aerobatic Team of Indian Air Force (IAF), carried out a display at Air Force Station Kalaikunda on 19th and 20th January.
The marquee event showcased the scintillating and spectacular display of precision flying and performance by nine aircraft team, flying Hawk Mk-132.
The aerobatic display showcased the operational capability of the Indian Air Force with an aim to motivate youth to join the elite service. The display was open to general public of adjoining districts of Kalaikunda, apart from Air Veterans , Civil dignitaries and personnel of Air Force Stations Kalaikunda and Salua. The main attraction of the event was the precision flying and complex manoeuvres by combat pilots of the IAF.
