Central Association for Private Security of India( CAPSI) president Kunwar Vikram Singh on Sunday said that the separate association has initiated process to set up a Drone Pilot Training Centre in Tripura while an Aviation Academy will also be set up in North Eastern region of India.
The drone pilot training center will provide opportunities for Northeast youths to get jobs abroad, with a salary of Rs 1 lakh. The aviation academy will help to train and certify drone pilots, ensuring that they understand the regulations, operating requirements, and procedures for safely flying drones.
This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to promote the use of drones in various sectors, including agriculture, healthcare, and logistics. The drone pilot training center in Prayagraj is also set to start by the end of January or February next year. As the demand for commercial drone pilots continues to grow, it is essential to have proper training and certification to ensure safe and efficient operations.
