The three days 5th Annual Rongali Bihu celebration organised by Makum pathar Anchalik Rongali Bihu Sanmelon 2023 Margherita concluded successfully where the committee submits complete expenditure report with a saving of Rs 1 lakh seventy thousand.
Sanjib Borah president, Ajit Bezbaruah and Mahindra Gogoi duo vice president, Pappu Dutta and Bittu Boktial duo chief secretary, Bijit Gogoi cultural secretary, Rikki Sharma and Munin Dutta duo finance secretary and Manash Pratim Gogoi chief publicity secretary Makum pathar Anchalik Rongali Bihu Sanmelon 2023 Margherita on monday organised a press meet where they thanks all those people who have heart heartedly contributed to make the Bihu successful one and the committee has able to saved Rs 1,70,000 after all the expenditures which shall be used for public interest.
On the first of Rongali Bihu the programme begins with hoisting of flag by Sanjib Borah president of the organising committee followed by Smriti tarpan done by Pappu Dutta and Bittu Boktial duo chief secretary.
After that felicitation to senior citizens of Makum pathar region and various games,events and inauguration of cultural programme.
On the Second day the programme begins with felicitation two prominent social worker of Margherita Dhaniram Chetia distinguished farmer and Sanjev Kumar Chaubey noted Industrialist.
After that inauguration of cultural night programme by Margherita MLA Bhaskar Sharma where noted Assamese singers of Assam Pran Deep,Barshna Chetia and San Deep enthralled the present people.
