A doctor by profession Mayur Hazarika from Tezpur of Assam secured fifth position in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) 2022.
Hazarika was a student of Don Bosco High School, Tezpur.
The result of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Examination declared on May 23.
Taking to news agency ANI Hazarika told that he was satisfied with his result and added that he wants to join the Indian Foreign Service.

The best rank of Assam so far in UPSC after IAS Rajiv Borah who secured 4th rank.
This year total number of 933 candidates recommended for appointment.
Ishita Kishore has topped the civil service exam, followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N and Smriti Mishra.
