Mega Medical Camp at various locations in Kangpokpi district was organised by Assam Rifles on 01 Jun 2023.
Entire district has been extremely disturbed with precarious law & order situation and violence. Due to adverse security situation, the locals were deprived of preventive & curative medical care for over three weeks and have been longing for requisite medical care & relief for a while.
In continuation of efforts of Assam Rifles to provide succour to local populace devoid of quality medical care due to ongoing clashes, this mega Medical camp was org in coordination with DGAR & Civil administration.
A total of 2300 locals including women and children benefitted from this initiative & a team of doctors including various specialists to include anaesthesiologist, gynaecologist, paediatrician & medical specialist attended to their medical ailments earnestly.
The local populace expressed their profound gratitude to Assam Rifles for this noble initiative in times of distress.
