Governor of Assam Gulab Chand Kataria visited the site of the Sri Sri Aniruddha Deva Sports University at Balijan Pani Era village at Chabua in Dibrugarh today.
The construction of the building for Aniruddha Deva Sports University has been completed, and a vice chancellor has been chosen and temporary plans have been made to begin classes at DHSK College and Dibrugarh University.
Governor also signed a memorandum of understanding with the office of Dibrugarh Sports, the Dibrugarh Sports Project, and Aniruddha Deva Sports University. He mentioned that the sports project site in Dibrugarh will become operational by March 24th.
Additionally, he presided over a meeting in Dibrugarh with the DC, the vice chancellor of Sri Sri Aniruddha Deva Sports University, and important representatives from the state’s department of sports and youth welfare, where he reviewed the demands on the Sports University and its potential to improve sports education.
He also visited the multi-disciplinary sports complex in Khanikar and assessed its progress.
