It has been observed that in different media including social media, some misleading correspondence & news are circulating regarding running of Vande Bharat trains in different fictitious routes like Howrah – Gaya, Asansol – Varanasi, Asansol – Puri, Malda Town – Patna, Howrah – Azimganj, Jamalpur – Sealdah, Sealdah – Lalgola, Howrah – Bhagalpur etc.
All these news are totally fictitious and may misguide the readers. There is no confirmation from Railway side yet regarding running of Vande Bharat trains in such routes. All are requested to follow official notifications from different Railway Zones and Indian Railways only regarding running of Vande Bharat Express in different routes.
Kausik Mitra, Chief Public Relations Officer, Eastern Railway strongly condemned the circulation of such type of fake news which may create mis-interpretation and wrong notion in the public psyche.
