ASSAM STUDENTS VISITED AT NARANGI MILITARY STATION UNDER PROJECT AROHAN

Arohan , meaning Ascent or To rise , is a career mentoring programme for meritorious students of class IX-XII in Assam. It was started in 2022-23. Today 270 Students from Nagaon and Hojai Districts alongwith their Mentors visited the Narangi Military Station.

The event included an interactive session with the military officers at Brahmputra Auditorium and display of modern war fighting weapons and equipments of Indian Army along with a sumptuous lunch jointly organised by Indian Army & Education Department, Govt of Assam. Indian Army also motivated the youth by guiding them about various avenues for joining Indian Armed Forces as Officers and as Agniveers.

The highlight of the visit was a motivational interaction by the Major General RK Jha, AVSM General Officer Commanding, 51 Sub Area with the students. These visits will be conducted for 31 Districts of Assam over a period of three months.
