In a meticulously planned operation conducted under the banner of IGAR (South), Assam Rifles successfully recovered Myanmar liquor in Songdoi, Churachandpur District, on September 12, 2023.
This operation was initiated based on specific intelligence received from our trusted sources. Assam Rifles’ units launched the operation in the general vicinity of Nala Junction, Songdoi, leading to the confiscation of Myanmar liquor, including 3360 (Three thousand and sixty) bottles of whiskey , 72 (Seventy two ) cans of Beer and one jerrican (20 liters) of Local Liquor.
The recovered liquor has been handed over to the Singhat Police Station for further investigation.
