Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(S) organized a drawing competition at Phaikoh Primary School, Phaikoh, Kamjong District on October 19, 2023. The event saw an enthusiastic participation of 67 students of all ages.
The sight of the children engrossed in drawing, colouring their creations and displaying their handiwork with pride was a joy to see. The competition was categorized into two groups, one for the lower classes and the other for the upper classes and the top three positions in each category were given prizes.
The event was organised with an aim to bringing back smiles to the faces of the children, underlining the importance of the maintenance of peace in nurturing the future generations of the region.
