Constitution Day also known as ‘Samvidhan Divas’ is observed in our country every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect from 26th January 1950.
Metro Railway observed the Constitution Day. As 26.11.2023 is Sunday, a holiday, so the programme was held today.
P. Uday Kumar Reddy administered the pledge on Preamble of the Constitution of India enshrined in the Constitution to officers and staff at Metro Railway Bhavan. All officers of Metro Railway and staff in large numbers participated in this programme. This pledge was also taken in other offices of Metro Railway. Metro officers and staff vowed to uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India.
