Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(S), conducted a cleanliness program at Tusom CV village, Ukhrul District, Manipur on 30thNovember 2023.
The program was organised in collaboration with the eager and enthusiastic residents of Tusom CV village. The villagers along with the village president and the church authorities were present during the conduct of the event. The primary objective of this initiative was to instill a sense of awareness amongst villagers about maintaining the cleanliness of their surroundings and to inspire them to adopt healthy lifestyle practices. This event was conducted as an integral part of the “Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan.”.
The Village Authorities applauded the efforts made by Assam Rifles for undertaking the initiative as part of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan and enlightening the villagers about healthy living practices.
