Assam Rifles conducted Swachhata Pledge by all ranks under “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” at Battalion Headquarter, Lunglei and at all Company Operating Base on 4th December 2023. A total of 05 Officers, 25 Junior Commissioned Officers and 350 Other Ranks of Assam Rifles participated in the event.
The event was conducted to spread awareness regarding importance of cleanliness and hygiene towards prevention of common diseases, maintaining overall health of society. As part of the event, a lecture was also conducted in which it was highlighted that, cleanliness plays a crucial role in everyone’s life. Also, it is vital for a healthy body, mind, and soul. Cleanliness is a way of living a happy and healthy life.
