National Integration Tour to Gujrat was flagged off from Ukhrul under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (South). The tour comprising of students from various schools of Ukhrul, Tengnoupal and Imphal will visit places of historical and National significance in Rajkot, Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
The initiative undertaken as part of Assam Rifles Civic Action Program witnessed students from remote areas participating with zeal and enthusiasm. The 17 day event is aimed at providing comprehensive exposure to youth from Manipur into the rich heritage and cultural diversity of the country, as well as, holistic personality development.
The parents and faculty of respective schools appreciated the Assam Rifles in providing opportunity to the students and requested to organize such events in future also.
