Acting on specific intelligence of likely presence of cache of weapons in general area P Geljang village in Churachdndpur district, Assam Rifles in conjunction with Border Security Force and Manipur Police launched a cordon and search operation on 22nd December 2023 and recovered one 9 mm Pistol, one pt 22 rifle, two 12 bore guns, one country made Mortar ammunition and war like stores. The recovered items have been handed over to Police.
