Water Solutions In Ukhrul District And Festive Celebrations In NIT Tour In Gujarat :
Assam Rifles, under the aegis of IGAR (South), successfully executed a crucial project under ‘Op Sadbhavana’ by constructing and delivering a 5000-litre RCC Water Tank to Khamasom Phungdhar village in Ukhrul district on 26th December 2023. This initiative addresses the long-standing water scarcity issues in the challenging terrains, enhancing the daily lives of the villagers.
Meanwhile, as part of the National Integration Tour, students associated with Assam Rifles celebrated Christmas with fervour alongside Indian Army troops at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The visit to the Statue of Unity provided not only a cultural learning experience but also a platform for fostering camaraderie among the students and military personnel.
