Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) have been developing good faith among the locals of hills as well as valley during the prevailing communal violence in Bishnupur District, (Manipur). A bunker in security zone in general area village Kwakta has been dismantled by volunteers and locals which reflects the faith of people on Assam Rifles and other security forces.
The villagers and volunteers were educated about the role of Security Forces, coordination being carried out between various columns and domination in the area. The faith building efforts are facilitated by organising security meetings, sports tournaments, career counseling and medical aid in the area.
The villagers have extended their best regards to the Security Forces deployed and continuously making efforts to restore normalcy in the area.
