Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) organised distribution of Sport items under Operation Sadbhavana Project at Nagaljang village, Churachandpur district of Manipur on 19th January 2024. The aim of this initiative is to promote sports culture in the border villages while motivating and aiding the youth and children with basic requirement of sports items.
This initiative will not only instill confidence among the students but will motivate them to pursue their career in sports. The programme aims in achieving the goal of promoting Fit India among the youth, to be actively involved in sports activities. Total of 114 young and energetic youth benefitted from the project. Village authorities expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards Assam Rifles and acknowledged the efforts of Security Forces by addressing as True Friends of the North East people.
