Acting on specific intelligence of movement of weapons between Thoubal & Pallel, Assam Rifles established a Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) at Bijoypur, Pallel on 29 Jan 2024. At around 3 PM, the MVCP intercepted a white I20 and on thorough searching recovered one Pistol, one smoke grenade and other war like stores.
