Army Institute of Management Kolkata (AIMK) celebrated its prestigious 21st Medal Award Function (MAF) of the academic excellence and achievement of MBA–24 Batch students. The MAF is a time-honored tradition celebrating the academic accomplishments of its graduating students. The event took place today at AIMK Rajarhat campus.
The Army Institute of Management, Kolkata (Formerly, National Institute of Management Calcutta) was established on 28 July 1997 by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), New Delhi, to conduct state-of-art Management Programme for the wards of Army personnel (80% seats reserved) with an opportunity for the general candidates (20% seats reserved) as well.
This year marks the introduction of seat reservation for the wards of Indian Air Force and Indian Navy.
This year’s Medal Award Function marked a significant milestone for the students of MBA-24 Batch who have dedicated themselves to two years of hard work, and academic pursuit.
The ceremony featured esteemed guest like Lieutenant General RC Srikanth, COS, HQ Eastern Command, who shared his words of wisdom and inspiration to the graduates as they embarked on the next chapter of their lives.This gala event was also graced by the Director, Brigadier, (Dr.) Sujay Ranjan Chaudhuri (Retd) who set the motion with his inaugural address.
In addition to the conferral of degrees, the ceremony included special awards and recognitions honoring students for their outstanding academic performance, leadership, and contributions to the college community.
The ceremony will serve as a poignant reminder of their achievements.
