In connection with the World Health Day, wide spread initiatives were taken by Assam Rifles to promote a healthy and sound lifestyle in the crisis struck areas of Manipur.
In the same vein, Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) organised a “Run for Fun” event for the children of Unopat Village of Chandel district, Manipur.
The event consisted of a 4 km run from Unopat Village to Khambathel Village. A total of 45 children took part in the event enthusiastically. T Shirts and gifts were presented to the kids post the event.
This thoughtful gesture from Assam Rifles was appreciated wholeheartedly by the local populace. The Village authority expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the selfless commitment and social responsibility of the Assam Rifles.
