Acting on specific intelligence of presence of arms and ammunition in general area of Waithou Khongang Kachin in Thoubal district of Manipur, Asssam Rifles, Manipur police (including Commandos) launched a joint search operation on 15 April 24 and recovered one 5.56mm INSAS Rifle, one 9mm Carbine Machine Gun, one Single Barrel Rifle, three Grenades and ammunition.
