NCC Directorate West Bengal & Sikkim joined forces with Tata Medical Centre to host a landmark Cancer Awareness Event on 6th May 2024.
The event, held at Surendra Nath College, Kolkata a premier institute affiliated to NCC Group HQ Kolkata-B, aimed to shed light on the importance of early detection, prevention, and support for those battling breast cancer.
The collaborative effort between NCC Directorate West Bengal & Sikkim and Tata Medical Centre underscores a shared commitment to raising awareness about breast cancer and empowering individuals to take proactive steps towards their health. Through the informative session with the experts, NCC cadets and other attendees gained valuable insights into various aspects of cancer prevention, treatment, and survivorship.
The event featured engaging activities such as health screenings, educational exhibits, and testimonials from cancer survivors, highlighting stories of resilience and hope. NCC cadets, ANOs also had the opportunity to interact with healthcare professionals and learn about the latest advancements in cancer research and treatment.
