Assam Rifles, being the harbingers of peace and torch bearers of development in Manipur, have never shied away from recognising and appreciating achievers in the state of Manipur. In order to motivate and recognize achievements of students of ARPS, Kakching, Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) organised a felicitation ceremony for meritorious students who performed exceptionally well in CBSE 10th Board Exam at ARPS, Kakching on May 12, 2024. A total of Six meritorious students were felicitated on the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, an interaction with the teachers was conducted where a detailed analysis of class 10th results of the school and innovative ways for improvement in the next academic year was discussed. Assam Rifles’ efforts to increase quality of education in the region is being highly appreciated by parents and local populace.
ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISED VOLLEYBALL MATCH AT SENDRA, BISHNUPUR DISTRICT, MANIPUR
Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) standing firm to its credo of ‘Friends of the North East’ organised a volleyball match with Sendra Youth Club at Sendra,Bishnupur District on May 22, 2024.
Assam Rifles under the theme “Fighting Drugs through Sports” took the initiative of bringing youth together by organising a volleyball match on 22 May 2024. A total of 15 players from neighbouring villages participated in match. The match was organised to inspire youth to adopt healthy and fit lifestyle. The event was also aimed at identifying local talent to motivate them to join Indian Army/ Assam Rifles.
Assam Rifles also presented volleyballs to Sendra Youth Club. Local youth appreciated the initiative taken by Assam Rifles and promised to be healthy, enterprising and responsible citizens of the Nation.
