Acting on specific intelligence of presence of cadre in general area Waithou, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched a joint operation on 11 June 2024. The combined teams of Assam Rifles and Police tactically established road blocks on NH-102 and apprehended a cadre and recovered a grenade from him.
