The Meteorological department has issued red alert for next two days in the Dima Hasao areas of Lumding – Badarpur hill section.
The N. F. Railway has cancelled and rescheduled few trains operating through that section.
A press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO), Sabyasachi De, informed it.
Cancellation of trains:
Train no. 15617 (Guwahati – Dullabcherra) Express, train no. 15611 (Rangiya – Silchar) Express and train no. 15641 (Silchar – New Tinsukia) Express commencing journey on 15th June, 2024.
Train no. 15615/15616 (Guwahati – Silchar – Guwahati) Express, train no. 15618 (Dullabcherra – Guwahati) Express, train no. 15612 (Silchar – Rangiya) Express and train no. 15642 (New Tinsukia – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 16th June, 2024.
Rescheduling of train:
Train no. 15626 (Agartala – Deoghar) Express commencing journey on 15th June, 2024 has been rescheduled to start at 23:30 hours instead of 19:00 hours.
Situation is being monitored 24 x 7 by the railway authorities. Appropriate decisions will be taken keeping in view the safety of train passengers.
