For running the Metro in a smooth manner, Metro Railway has put emphasis on recruitment of efficient staff in different categories through Railway Recruitment Board and Railway Recruitment Cell. It not only helps Metro Railway but also contributes a lot to ease out the unemployment problem.
On June 28, 2024 13 sportspersons having prowess in chess, cricket, football, basketball and table tennis and 2 candidates experts in song and dance have joined Metro Railway. With this recruitment Metro Railway has once again proved that it recruits eligible candidates having talent in sports and culture.
These 15 newly recruited staff were felicitated by Shri P Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway today in Metro Rail Bhavan. Terming all these sportspersons as “Our Pride”, General Manager has expressed his hope that in future too they will continue to make Metro fraternity proud. Senior Metro officials were also present in this programme.
