Assam Rifles and Manipur Policd launched a operation on 06 July 2024 and destroyed two bunkers whlist also recovering one Improvised 303 Rifle, one 9mm Pistol, one 12 Bore Single Barrel, two long range Improvised Mortar and war like stores. The recovered items have been handed over to Manipur Police.

Acting on specific intelligence of presence of arms and ammunition in general area, village Yangoubung in Tengnoupal District, Manipur.
Assam Rifles launched an Area Domination Patrol on 05 July 2024 and recovered one lathode gun, one 9mm Pistol, four local made Pompi, one local made mortar, two single barrel guns and ammunition.
The recovered items have been handed over to Manipur Police.
