The Mumbai- Howrah Mail derailed near Rajkharsawan in Jharkhand around 3:45 AM on Tuesday. Twenty passenger were injured and Two death in the accident.
Ten coaches to Twelve coaches went off the tracks. Emergency response teams were dispatched to assist with rescue efforts, and railway authorities have set up helplines for affected passengers.

The injured pessengers were given medical treatment in Badabamboo before being taken to Chakradharpur for further treatment.
The incident occurred within the Chakradharpur railway division, approximately 7 km from the Rajkharsawan Station.
In a social media post , West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee slammed Central Government CM Mamata Banerjee wrote,”Another disastrous rail accident! Howrah- Mumbai mail derails in Chakradharpur division in Jharkhand today early morning, multiple deaths and huge number of injuries are the tragic consequences. I seriously ask: is this governance? This series of nightmares almost every week, this unending procession of deaths and injuries on railway tracks: for how long shall we tolerate this? Will there be no end to the callousness of Government of India?!My heart goes out to the bereaved families, condolences to the next of kin.”
