India’s dual Olympic medal-winning shooter Manu Bhaker on Monday expressed gratitude to the Indian sporting fans for their constant support and unwavering faith in her abilities over the years. Manu, who scripted history by becoming the only Indian athlete to win two medals in a single edition of Summer Games, dedicated her achievement to the nation and described her experiences in Paris as a dream come true.
Additionally, Manu, who claimed the Bronze medal in Women’s 10m Air Pistol event and also added a Bronze medal in Mixed Team 10m Air Pistol along with Sarabjot Singh, was named as India’s official flagbearer for the Closing Ceremony of the Paris Olympics. In a post on social media, Manu thanked IOA for giving her the honour and expressed what the opportunity means to her.
