The 1st Battalion National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) successfully conducted the Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign 2024 from September 14 to October 1, 2024, in alignment with the national initiative to promote cleanliness and environmental sustainability.
The campaign was inaugurated by Shri H.P.S. Kandari, Commandant, 1st BN NDRF, on September 14, 2024. This year’s theme, “Swabhaav Swachhata- Sanskaar Swachhata,” aimed to engage communities and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation, hygiene, and environmental sustainability.
During the campaign, NDRF organized cleanliness drives in public areas, educational institutions, and community centers, as well as tree plantation drives to promote environmental sustainability. The campaign successfully engaged local communities, with participation from various organizations, youth groups, and residents.
This collaborative effort fostered a sense of ownership and responsibility towards the environment. The Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign 2024 reaffirmed NDRF’s commitment to promoting cleanliness, sanitation, and environmental sustainability.
